Estonia has gone through a tough upheaval during last years. After freedom many things have been released and freed but at the same time change has increased the gap between generations.
Nowadays country represents one of the most secular societies. The country is clearly a mission field, which still needs our support. Only a tiny fraction of Estonia's population, less than thirty percent, are Christians. Only very few schools organize religious education. At the same time less than tenth of Estonian children are baptized.
Despite minor resources our Christian brothers and sisters in Estonia strive forward. Young people have already stepped forward and people are interested in a new type of spiritual events.
Mission Europe collaborates in Estonia with the Lutheran Mission Center, Agape and the Evangelical Alliance, but also with other Christian organizations and churches as needed. Strong emphasis in the ministry in Estonia is Bible teaching series as well as missions training for young people. Also various activities to support processes flowing out of the ChristDay in 2012 are in program.
